The last time

I saw my cats

Have you ever felt heartbroken? I sure have.

When I was 7 years old my dad said that I need to put my cats up for adoption. He said we couldn’t take care of them. They were too much work. They were going to the bathroom all over the house and it made my mom and dad mad.

Frizzle and Jeepers were the names of my cats. Frizzle was black, gray, and white. Jeepers was black and white. Frizzle was really hyper and Jeepers was lazy. Frizzle would run all around! Jeepers would just sit around all day.  I was sad that I need to sell my cats but we had to do it anyway.

So we got them into the cage and into the car. Off they went. I thought, “I’m going to miss Jeepers she is very mellow. And every time try to hold Frizzie she runs to the basement. I sure love them!”  Mom thought I was a little heartbroken so she said that I can get a pet fish tomorrow.Then I started to feel better.This day taught me when you love something someday you have to let it go.
