Who Do You Believe? The Pigs or the Wolf?

We read two stories during reading this week:

The Three Little Pigs told us the story of a big, bad wolf who tried to blow the three pigs’ houses down, but one little pig won out in the end.  The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs told us a different version from the wolf’s point of view.  Who knew that whole story started because of a cup of sugar and sneezes!

Whose version do you believe?  Do you believe the little pigs when they say the wolf is so big and bad?  Or do you believe the wolf when he says it is all a misunderstanding?  What makes you believe that version and why?

What Are You Thankful For?

Next week is Thanksgiving.  This is a time of year when people are most thankful for the things they have in their life (family, friends, siblings, pets, etc).  I am thankful to have each one of you in my class this year.

What are you most thankful for and why?
