End of the Year in the Library

There is A LOT going on in the library in the last 2 months of school! Please mark your calendars and alert me to any scheduling conflicts! Here is the schedule:

  • May 13th: Bluestem celebration lunch for 3rd & 4th-grade students who have read all 20 books off of the list.
  • May 13thVisit from the Northbrook Public Library regarding the Summer Reading Program. Here is the tentative schedule. Please let me know if there are conflicts!
  • 1:00 – 1:15 – 4th grade
  • 1:20 – 1:35 – 2nd grade
  • 1:40 – 1:55 – 3rd grade
  • 2:00 – 2:15 – 5th grade
  • 2:35 – 2:50 – 1st grade – UPDATED
  • May 14th: Library closed at 1:30 for Environmental Committee Meeting
  • May 20th: Ozobot Open House for 4E, 4Mu & 3rd graders from 2-3 pm.
  • Week of 5/27: Library closed for our end-of-year activity! We have done Camp Read-a-Lot and Books on the Beach in previous years, but we have something new planned this year! Please note: Due to the shortened school year, we will be building the environment in regular library leading up to the event. Classes will come for a 1/2 hour reading period in their tents. Students will come during their regular library time.
