Every year we go to my grandmas house in Scottsdale, Arizona. We don’t go there for special occasions. We usually go over summer, spring break, and sometimes winter break.We spend a lot of the time in the pool in our back yard.
When we are in Arizona we go to different places. We go to Cracker Jack, Wet n’ Wild, Fountain Hills, and Gainey Hyatt hotel. They are all really fun.
Cracker Jack is a place where you can ride bumper carts, play arcades, racing cars, water bumper cars, bungee jumping, miniature golf and a lot more.
At wet n’ wild there’s lots of fun in the sun. There are really large waves in one the wave pools and, there is a movie screen in the wave pool. So there is a lot of entertainment. There is a huge slide that looks like it could be 50 feet tall. Then there is another slide and it is called the Constrictor. The Constrictor is full of twists and turns and it is super fast. There is also another slide called Tornado. The Tornado is a slide that is shaped as a cone. It is a really long line to wait for but once your turn comes up it is worth the wait.
We usually go to this place called Fountain Hills. We have a picnic there and fly kites. They have the one of the biggest fountains in the United States. One year we had hired someone to come and take pictures of us so we can remember going there. Even though we never got the pictures back from her we still remember. It was really beautiful and fun.
The last and best place to go to was Gainey Hyatt hotel. It was really fancy on the inside but on the outside it looked like a water park, beach, and spa in one. There was a bunch of slides and sand. When you walked into the pool there was sand at the bottom. It meant to be there though. It was almost like a beach with clear water. There was even palm trees in the middle of the pool. Then on the other side of the pool area there was a pond full of fish and ducks.There was a jar of food to feed them.It is really fun but later it gets exhausting.
Every year we do something new and fun in Arizona.That is what I do for a fun time in Scottsdale Arizona. Lots of swimming, fun, and time with everyone.
